heres the plan 2jz auto into 86, found this 98 gs300 auto so taking everything out trans/motor/wiring but im a lil confused on wiring how im gonna run it yota key or lexus key /bypass theft module.. anybody here did this swap b4 with info on wiring mostly...i wanna run my yota key...
Sounds like a good plan and welcome to TM!!! Grab as much as you can from the donor, all the wiring, pig tails throttle Cabel trans linkage ECT... Haven't seen to many 2JZ swaps here, mainly all 1UZ V8 but the concepts pretty much the same. Have a plan so far as mounting, cooling ect. You'll need to grab the key amplifier and the ring around ignition, also the original key. With out those items your going to run into ALOT of headaches..... Thanks for info man...today im taking all the wiring out first b4 ill take the motor/trans out and i keep starting it after couple wires/module cut... So question u guys dont bypass theft light/module or reprogram ecu without theft control?? How u run ur wiring?? Stock yota key or lexus key?? Im trying to upload pictures but i not that good on computer/cell phone stuff...lol
You could use the 7mgte electronics on the 2J and should make it easier to setup in the truck. Use IS300 coil packs, 7mgte computer and cam sensor, scrap the distributer
Brotha where you at in HI? Btw you don't need to pull all that wiring... That's the body harness witch you will not need...
