My 22re to 22r conversion. Holley fuel pump,regulator,gauge,lines ect. rebuilt and modded asian carb. 22re out of 92 yota with only 6,000 miles ! $400! old motor has 192k and rattled its a$$ off. people around here told me it would never run right when i get done...WRONG it purrrrsss...

 

cool, congrats on the conversion! next thing you should do is rip that carb back off and put a weber on...they you can git rid of all those vacume lines and crap the carb needs to run and really clean up that engine bay a lot!

also advance your timing up to 10* btdc helps with throttle response and idle quality.

 

yeah iv been looking into it..im trying to sell my nitrous kit for 300 to get the weber swap...i mean, im not lookin for hella power but a little more pep than stock, witch it is alot stronger than that old worn out 22r that was in it.

search for a 32/36 weber on craigslist..i find em all the time for 150-175.. i got mine for 50 bucks and rebuilt it for 20 bucks. they are real easy to rebuild and there are vids on youtube to walk you through it, its really just 8 screws and the whole thing is apart...

 

still gotta sell the nitrous lol...im broke folk yo
