odometer just over 194xxx and piston rings on cyld #2 are f'ed. Compression is less that half of what it should be and I know its from valves because we put a lil bit of oil down the spark plug hole then re-tested it and it went way up in compresion. so my innitial question is... does anyone sell a rebuild kit? or does anyone know of a already rebuilt 22re near Michigan?, anything I should know if I do decide to do the rebuild?

Piston ring swap out is pretty easy.Just inspect the cylinder wall and make sure its not grooved or scorged. Get yourself the rebuild kit, honing tool, piston ring clamp thing and that's about it.Make sure your valves arent bent first that could be where your loosing compression.
