Does anyone know if an intake from a 87 22re motor will fit a 90 22re motor?

hmm, sorry about that........ when he said intake i thought he meant CAI...... not manifold. care to specify which one you meant?

i know that there are differences in between the manifolds after 87 or 89 i think.... not sure.

Ya I meant intake manifold. Reason I was asking is I sold the intake and throttle body off a garbage motor I had sitting here but the person said it's different. I found it hard to believe as I thought they were all the same but she said her's is a bit bigger and has a few more hose connections.

I know the older 22 re motors had smaller intake ports, and I believe they got bigger 92 + but I could be off as well. maybe someone has 92+ parts they could verify with vs the crack head you sold the parts to.

i read a few places here and there over the years of swapping to the later style setup on the older trucks to gain a little better flow. most guys also ported them at the same time. so id have to agree that there are two different parts.
