I bought a cheap warm air intake and MAF adapter on ebay, and im wondering what to do with the vacuum line that runs from the stock air box to somewhere by the throttle body. Must be an easy way to bypass this, I see people doing intake swaps all the time on these trucks. If it matters, its a 91 2WD x-cab. I can take a pic if need be. Thanks for the help
if you look left of the 90 degree elbow coming off the manifold you will see the breather filter that what I did I had it plugged for a while but for some reason it runs a bit better with the filter. You can always get the delete kit take the entire thing off including the tube that goes into the manifold from that canister and block it off with a plate as well but yah like Cinn said not if you live in Cali
haha, yeah, we got some crazy ass smog laws out here in cali. I'm not at all opposed to breaking the law though. I can always throw the stock stuff back on come smog time. the truck just passed smog, so im good for a while. The little filter idea sounds good, I'll pick one of those up at autozone or something. Do you guys think the metal intake tube is worth getting or should I stick with just getting the filter? I cant imagine the tube makes much difference
