Ok, so my 22r is actin up a little. to start off with, it won't let me maintain speed on the freeway, it only lets me speed up or slow down. when i try to maintain speed it chokes like its not getting fuel, so the truck starts jerking like its going to die. when i sit parked and rev the engine up it starts cutting out starting at 2400 rpms until 27-2800 rpms. i have been driving it with this problem for about 6 months now and i am just trying to figure out how i can fix it. any ideas help, thanks.

fuel pump, fuel filter cloged lines.. sound like when i use to have my corolla all motor.. i had a broken diaphram in the fuel pump( feeding 2x weber 45) it would die out and bring me to a stop.. drove like that from c.t. back to n.j.

its a brand new fuel pump, replaced when i re-did the head gasket. i'm not sayin that new pumps can be bad, i'm just sayin that its brand new.

The price isn't the problem, it's getting to the damn thing, it's a pain in the ass unless you're fender wells are cut out and then it's a little easier?
