so if i want to hook up the larger 22r carb on a 20r...other than the adapter plate and carb should i do any thing else to get it runnin right. i may just de-smog it but all the egr and such are still on there... the carb on lucy(the red '77) leaks a little at the base... but it seems to work alright...anyway i have a brand new 22r carb just sittin around(it was for the '82 celica but thats gettin a small block 350 and prerunner type of suspension).

so would it give me any improvement other than being new and larger. what should i look for as far as adjustment or set up any info would be great...

trying to decide wether to put it on the blue '81 or the red '77...
