20R. whats attached to top of exhaust manifold?

    i know its for emissions, but i dont have to worry about any smog bull****...

    c02 sensor?

    long story short. replaced manifold gaskets and studs yesterday and the pipe that im talking about was broken behind the motor. so i pulled it and tapped in two bolts to plug the holes on the manifold.

    am i going to run into any problems from doing this?

    you'll be fine. i cut my tubes off and welded the holes shut.

    i had a smog motor in my old dodge dart and did the same. no problems.
