hey guys I'm building a 22/20r for a offroad race truck.
What size valves should I use? oversized 20r? stock 22r? oversized 22r?
Do I need different seats to use the 22r valves?

    I'll using dual mikunni 44's.

    Thank

    Got some coin?

Get the LC Engeneering stuff. 20R specific.

    48MM Intake
    40MM Exhaust.

    Valves are like $17 each X 8
    Valve seats are ~$10 X8

So figure 220 plus shipping and tax. Just for parts.
and machine work would be close to that.

Im running stock sized 20R valves and springs on a ported head. There is much more power to be had if I spent the $$$'s on the big valves. But, Its strong enough for now.

Dont forget to figure in your valve springs while your in there. Ive revved my stock bottom end hybrid to 6600 rpm without noticable valve float. It was a accident though. Sounded like a chain saw!
