Hey I'm rebuilding my 20r because it recently threw a rod. No damage at all to the block though. Lol bullet proof. So with that being said i have a couple of questions to ask about that i can not find the answer 2. Can i use 22re pistons, can i just pull the valve train from a 22re also it on my head and adjust and go. Will the valves work? Ive heard of having the 20r head with over sized valves. Will my Webber 32/36 still give me enough power or should i upgrade to a 38 or dual sidedrafts. Oh and ill of course be boring the block out to the size of a 22r (2.4l). Please get back to me guys

20r pistons are domed but if you can find an early 22r I think 84 85 it should have the domed as well.As for the 22r valves they will not work.Different lengths.I'm pretty sure the rod lengths are the same so you can just swap over the piston head itself.Stick with the 32/36 it should be able to hang. The deck height on the 20r block is taller then that of a 22r so the chain is a link longer timming covers taller and etc.
