    Hello all,:meemee:

I have an opportunity to buy a fully refurbished carburetor for my 78 pickup 20r at a really great price. The person selling it has no idea if it's California emissions legal.

By looking at this picture, can anyone tell me if this cab has Cal emissions?

    Thanks!!

if it doesnt exactly match your carb, its not the carb you need.

they changed vac diagrams like underwear, and vac sensors were like bubble gum.

im just guessing but i bet the guy wants a couple hundred for the rebuilt carb (it does look nice) but i would go get a CARB certified weber 32/36. much better performance then the stock carb, and much easier to work on.

you can find them at one of these fine (read: awesome) weber retailers.
