So on my road trip to Relaxin' On The River, while at a gas station , truck at ride height of 4.5'', we went over a in ground tank fill plate, the train horns hit it even though up inside of the frame rails. Resulting in the air tanks losing all air. I have a in line shut off lever so just did that. How at home I removed the horns & found that one of the unions that is between each horn & the manifold is damage beyond repair, new horns on the way.
The support plate I made that the horn mounting bracket bolts too is hard to remove has nuts on the back side, so used rivet nuts to fix that, & I'm sectioning the bracket so that the horns sit higher up! 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg 5.jpg
