ive got a 1993 yota and want to put the 1998-2000 headlights on it. Any help? Ive got to make this a full show truck in time for Texas heat wave and i just bought it
98 headlights I just did it to my '92. I also used a stainless steel billet grille, meant for a '98. My lights had the plastic casing around them so i cut a larger hole in the radiator support and used some bolts and self tapping screws to hold it all in there. I don't know if it can be done without that plastic casing. I kept the casing and the headlights stick out like bug eyes. I also kept my corner lights original. They are held in with two bolts. The other side of them is supposed to pop into the grille so i left them loose. My headlights point down at the road too much so you might need to shim the bottom bolt out a bit, in order to bring them up. I don't think I will be trying that. The stock bumper fits in there tight (my bumper is dented). I might just get another bumper and install fog lights. Hopefully some of this is usefull to you.
