Nice. Could you give us some details of the swap? Cost for parts? Labor time? easiest installs? Biggest headache? etc.:applause:

Have at least 5,000 dollars ready to spend. this swap is not cheap. nor is any swap cheap. labor time could have been sooner but I had no money doing this so it took a good year of being very broke and eating top ramen noodles.
If I had the money and time to do it again. I could pull it off in a month.

biggest headaches was tackling the wiring, but i have a guy do it now and hes awesome. easiest part was breaking stuff.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

    Thanks,
    Rodney

Yeah man sick install.. So what mounts did u use or did u fab them yourself?? I know a place called bic performance makes them so it's a straight bot on drop in... And did u have to "massage" the firewall at all??

BICPerformance.com has been here for a longgg time haha. I may use their mounts.

The GTE's intake manifold doesn't match the GE's intake manifold ports and all that.

No, funds on this truck is like having a spoiled girlfriend. paychecks go quick. luckily I dont have a girlfriend other wise i'd work night shift haha.

I cut off the old mounts and used 1/4" angle iron and 1/2" gussets. no vibrations at all and the engine is going no where. with the trans mount I did the same but used the rubber mount it came with. With the single turbo, no firewall banging but with the stock twins you have to about 2 inches with a rubber mallot.

Not to sure. I do know that the 2jz and 1jz parts are fully interchangable.

if your motor is solid mounted and your trans is rubber mounted, that could explain why your breaking the bellhousings. they either should both be solid, or both be rubber.

also i have the 2jz-ge, the intake goes over the top. the truck is too low so i'm trying to cheat on clearance.
