    for right now im just buying a set of long travel lift UCA's from Batch Racing and some beefier tortion bars up front and out back im doing shackles and add a leaf... im just gonna run 31's for now... but later on i will probably go with the Batch Racing full long travel kit

    awesome. since you are doing that, the rear end out of a 4runner with the coil springs and all would give you the right amount of space to run 31s, and imho would be better that leaf springs. especially better than leaf springs under the axle.

    I'm totally new to the pre-runner style truck but i have been doing a lot of reading on Toyota Nation and Yota Tech and i have read more than once that for high speed desert runs there is nothing wrong with leaf under axle, I've actually read that it is better (as far as leafs go) to be under the axle. Plus, I'm a broke ass college kid that's tired of busting rims and tires on potholes, so that's why I'm going up, and I'm trying to do it as cheap as possible but it still be right.

    hell yeah, well good luck dude. i'm on a budget and it sucks tryin to do bass fishing tournaments and mess with vehicles at the same time. really really sucks.
