You have a new clutch and shifter seat installed or are you asking if you should install the parts? If the latter yes, you should install the parts it should help. If the former then I'd suggest bleeding the clutch and adjusting the free travel of the pedal next.

I'm sorry typo these parts are installed, fluid is replaced in both trans and clutch master cylinder, and slave cylinder is replaced. I bleed the hydraulic clutch. The shifting into 1st, 2nd,5th, and reverse feels good, 3rd and 4th seems short. I like to also note that the clutch saw slipping before it was replaced.

If all was well before the work was done, I would narrow it down to your hydraulics.

Or else the synchros in those 2 gears are worn...which should have been the same before the clutch work.

3-4 are the same fork. This leads me to lean towards the shifter seat especially since it appears to have a shortened throw. I'm thinking the seat is the wrong one, possible too thin or missing the rubber washer that some of them use under the seat so the handle is catching on the linkage rather than engaging completely.

Yeah, the shifter seat is the most likely culprit. It will wear and break apart and cause issues like this. It's cheap and easy to get to and there's no reason not to have a new one in there.

could be a bent 3-4 fork, shift rod, or the syncros.
