I'm looking to buy a new shell for a 1993 truck and wanted to know is anyone knew the dimensions for the 1993 standard cab bed. I see alot of ranger shells available, but I'm not sure if they'll fit. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Michelle

A ranger shell would fit but not perfectly, the beds on our bodystyles have a slight taper to the bed rails making the front a bit wider and square then the rear where it rounds out and slopes down. If you want a perfect fit shell you will need to buy a toyota truck or early tacoma specific version. This is a rough estimate as its been a while since I measured my bed but I think its like 59" wide and 76" long. I had a S10 tonneau at one point and it over hung my rear by 1/2" on both sides but it was the same measurement as my bed. Nvrenufedge had a ranger or mazda shell on his and it overhung a bit on both sides as well. So depending on how well you want it to fit and look go with Toyota only or if you dont mind the slight overhand and such then Im sure you could get by with a ranger one
