    get two large towels.
get your ratchets and 12mm sockets.
    grab a friend.

This is how i do it. cept, solo.
    Prop up hood.
Place towels under each corner near windshield, covering alot of surface under the corners so you don't chip paint.
I loosen the passenger side first then drivers since the prop is on that side. idk why. but i have one hand supporting it.
Once unbolted on one side, place the corner where it will stay (corner of the cowl and fender), that towel will prevent scratches. seriously.
and then do for the other side.
then unprop, and just lift the whole thing out. place somewhere soft, like grass. becareful.

    that's how i do it.

I've removed my hood so many times :)

It's PARAMOUNT that you keep the hood stable and the painted areas well covered. One slip and your hood hinges are messed up and or the painted parts are scratched up or well dented.

So I figured you guys learn from my experience and do it right.

I'll be swapping my hood soon once the weather gets much warmer. The rising sun will come back.

and now is a good time for hood spacers if you wanna have a little breather gap at the back. they seriously weigh nothing tho.

make some reference marks too so it makes it easier to align when putting it on

Dude I'm not sure why if find it out if your asking how to take off a hood if your doing motor work. If you got mechanical skills a hood should be kinda simple. Not trying to be rude just must have missed something
