i need a new bed/box i know you guys had this discussion before but i cant remember, but i have a 1993, now i know from 89-95 the body is the same, i need to know if anybody has used a bed from a newer model, or if you of anybody that has and which one fits, my local junkyard has tons of box but i think they are all tacomas, any help works!

anything from 89-95 will work, there is no difference between 2wd or 4wd. as far as a tacoma, someone on ssm did try it. but a taco bed is taller i believe, and the bodylines will of course not match, as far as direct bolt on i dont know. best bet is to just wait and find the correct one.

how much weight will they handle in the bed ?
also what about people with bagged trucks can you order one with no floor ?

 

seems a little expensive to spend on a bed alone. 4g's damn, id rather spend that on paint

 

The person that owns that truck did spend probly just as much on the paint...its all in what U want

check out his website. there are videos of hitting them with sledge hammers and running them over with a truck. if i had a 4x4 i would want one. it would suck to do all the custom work to a steel bed and ruin it in one day of wheeling.
