Well I guess it's time for me to start one of these. Starting this from my phone but will update more when I get home tonight. So far I have done 3 inch blocks in back. Torsion bars, and a BJ flip. Sitting on some 205/70/14 tires at the moment. I still want to go even lower and end up with a nice flush fit. Thinking 15x10s all the way around. Maybe even 16's.

Never worked on cars on my life so this is all new. I have raced motocross for 15 years, been fun so far and I can't wait to see this thing finished.

Below is a pic of the truck when it was stock.

All you gotta do is click on the link under your pics at imgur that says "Get Embed Codes" then copy and paste only the "BBCode (message boards & forums)" code.

    Now onto the good stuff.

The blocks I picked up for the back.

So I started on the left side and after I had taken off the u bolts the rear end was not wanting to lift up at all so I decided to pull another bolt on the bottom of the leaf springs. Turns out that's the main bolt that holds it all together. After I nice smack to the shoulder and a new pair of boxers I got everything back together. Never make that mistake again. The right side literally took 5 minutes.

The back all done! (Excuse the dirt)

Drove over to my parents shop to do the torsion bars only to find out that out of all 3 million tools we don't have a 20mm socket. Talked to les Schwab and convinced the boss man to do the drop for free. :) $60 later it's aligned and sitting on the bumps.

Sorry for the spam of posts! Trying to catch up ;)

As you can tell from the last pic the back is lower so a BJ flip is in store. Shoutout to SD Yota for the write up. It was super helpful. Took about an hour and a half and went smooth.

Now the back is higher. Fail.

Not sure if this dude is on here but this is the height I'm heading for. I assume it's possible without bags?

Test fitted a mk3 lip I found at my buddy's house. Gonna buy in a week or so for $20. Perfect fit minus the edges being a little long but that's an easy fix. Little dirty but it's in good condition!

Looks good and yes rhat stance is possible without bags. Youl probably want to get drop spindles, and smaller tires up front

That's the plan! Lower control arms, spindles, 15 or 16x10's if possible? On a 50 series tire...

Purchasing lip tonight for the front and am gonna take some measurements and see if I can go lower in the rear and front with some trimming of the bump stops. For the rear I'll have to pull a leaf cause it's not on the bump stops yet.

Installed lip and removed the bug grill. I like the look a lot more now. I start my new job on Monday so hopefully after a few weeks I'll have 16x10 cragers all the way around stretched on some 205/50/16. Not sure what offset I'll order. Defntitely want a wide stance with a good amount of poke. Opinions?

Had to do a little trimming on the sides but overall it's a decent fit.

How did you mount the lip? Did you have to keep the zip ties to mount it?

The ones you see on the final pic are what's left. Drilled holes in the bottom of the valance. I might try to come up with a better solution later but right now this will do. It's the best I could come up with.
