i found a steal of a deal on a 82 toyota celica. it has a 22r and a 5 speed. I am planning to rebuild and swap the motor and the 5 speed into my 22r/ 4speed powered base 89 pickup will this work?

ill 3rd that with some info.

you will need to change oil pans and pickup, use the truck tranny x-member.

the only real hang up will be the drive shaft. you might be able to mix and match the celica and truck drive shaft for the right legnth or get lucky with either one.

you'll also need to use the speedo cable out of the celica.

when your done with the celica list it up for parts or whatever on www.celica-gts.com, they are all about the 82-85 celica's
