If you have good compression, good wires, cap, and rotor, it should light, sure its actually not firing? or possibly a weak spark, flat cam lobe, broken valve spring, plug wire crossed, causing it to miss in that hole.

sounds like nook has good tips there. double check firing order, take the valve cover off and adjust the valves, also turn the motor with a bar to make sure all the springs look to be working properly. check the cam for uneven visual wear and tear. let us know what those ideas result in.

check with a timing light to see if its getting spark. hook it up like you would to check the timing. if the induction light lights up, its getting spark and your problem is elsewhere... if it dont then you can go from there. back into the ignition system from the wire back.
