For sale I have a 1983 Toyota Pickup SR5. The truck is a little rough around the edges, but it runs good and would make an excellent work truck. It has a 22r 4 cylinder and a 5-speed manual, and is a blast to drive.
The previous owner had the engine and transmission rebuilt. However, not long after it was rebuilt the timing chain tensioner broke. I just finished installing a new dual row timing chain with metal guides (a bulletproof upgrade for the one weakness on these motors), as well as new exhaust valves, valve seals, and complete top end gasket kit. While I had the engine apart I thoroughly cleaned and painted everything so the engine looks quite nice. The truck has also been de-smogged and has a weber-style carburetor. Has good tires.
The truck does have some rust but still functions fine and doesn't look terrible.

It would be a great work truck, or if you lowered it a couple inches a really cool and fun sports truck.

I'm asking $1,300.
