So, recently my body shop guy said he did find A grille for my truck and unsurprisingly its a 1983 4WD grille... not a 2wd one! I did some looking online and all I can find are RN4*5* reproductions (Assuming it's a chassis code from outside the U.S. since all I know is we got the RN34s, 38s, 44s, and 48s unless there's even more discrepancies there) and a few complete bezel and grill assemblies that are also reproductions. Has anyone gotten any experience with the Taiwan repros? Gonna have to keep my eyes out for an OE kit for sure in case the repros aren't good. Thanks in advance!

 

Pick nd pull? E bay? I've seen good reproduction ones but hopefully someone that's using one can chime in..

 

The only 83 in the valley was the one I pulled my new hood off of. It was already stripped to the bones when I got to it unfortunately.

 

Also check your local offer up and FB marketplace.. last time I was in AZ I seen a few ppl parting trucks out like hondas.. lmao

 

I'm seeing much for the 84-95ish trucks. Not much for the previous gens aside a few gutted motorhomes. You are right about that though!
