I tweaked the torsion bars to lower the front and in the rear im running 3inch blocks. When i installed 18" work rezax 8.5+30, 9.5+45 225-40 and 245-40 tires, on uneven pavement the truck pulled side to side and it did it even more when there was uneven pavement and braking at the same time. Does it mean my alignment is messed up? Someone mentioned to me about adding bump steer spacers to eliminate the pulling. What is your take on this :)?

I used to run 17"s staggered set up 8+35 and 9+38 offset wheels with 225-45-17 and 275-40-17 tires. I never had an issue with steering or an issue with the truck pulling side to side on uneven pavement. I currently run the stock 14" wheels and still no issues.

Itz probably an issue with your tires. Everytime ive had Directional tires wether the vehicle was lowered or not it pulled side to side depending on how the road is. If theres a line on the road like a crack or a seam in the asphalt the vehicle follows. Friends ofmine have had the same issues. After the set on my current 18s im never getting directionals again.

Not saying your alignment isnt off, just stating my personal experiences

I have all seasons, but I get bumpsteer... or just roadsteer depending on what angle the road is and etc. Like it jerked to the right because part of the road was driven on for so long it was uneven

Ive had bumpsteer in all 3 minis ive driven (1 yota, 2 nissans) sometimez the steerig wheels goes a good 1/4 turn before i correct it. Sh!t feels so sketchy at higher speeds. Main reason why i dont take it on the freeways here, theyre lines scored all down the road

hmm..yea thats weird. I was thinking it had to do with the wheels being too heavy for the front susp lol. I test fitted the wheels i curently have on my car which are work vsmx 18 9+22 with 215-40-18 and 10+24 245-40-18 hankook v12's and my dam truck ran like a dream. No pulling or jerking. From you guys's experiences it does seem as if the type of tire design has to do something with it.

I never thought about it much in the past but crappy tires do affect the ride. Are the set of tires on your WORKs directional?

yes they are. Currently im running stock 14's with 185-60-14 fronts, and 195-65-14 rears. Tires are new and i do no have this issue. So it must be the tires i had on the works. I also had my steering box rebuilt and i feels better. Im going to put my 16" Rays wheels on soon.
