I have a 1982 Toyota 2wd long bed, looking for bumper brackets either good used or OEM quality new. I tried buying some reproductions off Ebay and the steel is about half the gauge of the OEM ones. You bend these by sneezing on them! Can't seem to find any good used ones in the SF bay area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Aaron
Have you tried Pick n Pull? They have an inventory checker for their locations so you at least know if they've got any trucks of the year you need in stock. Also, consider swapping to the style of the 79-81 bumpers. it is a single piece front that wraps around instead of having those rubber/plastic endcap things that dry out, crack and fade. It gives the truck a sleeker look overall.
