So I bought Predracer's old '79 truck a while back...

Been working on getting the motor right, now I need suspension so I can get it back on the road.

The torsion bars were removed from the truck when I got it. I have the bars, but need keys and all the hardware to mount them. Can't find anything on e-Gay and searching the small junkyards by my house has turned up nothing. This is my first Toyota truck, so maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places, or searching with the wrong "key" words... I dunno. Anyone have some laying around or can point me in the right direction? Not too keen on the idea of running without them.

    Thanks in advance.:)

Guess I need to start looking into bagging the front... As I have still had no luck with the junkyards even further from my house.

I didn't think they'd be that hard to find... Sheesh.

Heck, if you know the suspension math, you could even consider airbagged shocks (yes, shocks that are also airbags)

something like these: air shock, airwave, shockwave

not as universal a solution, but a possible consideration

Yup. Pulling it into the garage after Halloween and tearing the whole thing apart. Not sure exactly which way it's going back together... But at this point anything and everything is on the table.

have you considered the bag/shock combos? I believe airbagit makes something called airbag shocks that combine the shock and airbag in one thingy. Bolts to your stock shock mounts (still need the other stuff like compressor, tank, lines, etc), so you can still get over rogue speed bumps.

I will look into it. Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed response... Work has been kicking my ass + had a death in the family. Been a doosy of a couple weeks for sure.
