i have a 1978 toyota chinook camper. it has a blown head gasket. this guy i bought it from was shady guy with a used car lot, who told me he had used it to drive from indianapolis to st. louis many times. as soon as i left his lot, when i was transporting it from where i bought it to where its parked now i got on the highway with the windows down and the top literally flew off of the truck 30 feet in the air crashing down in the middle lane during rush hour, consiquently getting destroyed. ive owend on before now so right before i took off i went around and secured all the straps (which were dry rotted) but trusting the guy i bought it from i figured they would hold. i was wrong, and about 10 minutes after i this rediculous situation i continued driving and the head gasket blew. im the sucker for paying this guy 2000$ for a POS but the body it in great shape as well as the interior so im the sucker for buying anpolished terd. ive bought 2 other vehicles since then and dont have the time or desire really to put the work into the chinook it needs to be bad ass. right now its taking up space in a friends yard and i just need it gone so im open to any resonable trades or offers. let me know if youre interested thanks everyone and have a great day!
