So I bought a 1977 Toyota Hilux and have a rusting fuel tank along with metal lines. I’ve tried looking on Napa, Autozone, ect and cant find a fuel tank that looks similar. The one I have is more rounded and egg shaped with two holes on the topside along with the one hole to out gas into it. Im also having problems with the metal fuel lines rusting too. Anyone know any stores or ways to fix this?

Most auto parts stores sell universal parts for metal fuel/brake lines and you can rebuild the system yourself. Gas tank, I'd likely go aftermarket fuel cell vs trying to source something specific to these old trucks.

You can find one dude on Facebook that sell parts out of Thailand for these trucks. I've seen him selling a gas tank before. You can get stainless fuel line and its pretty inexpensive. Hard to flare though. Not really necessary for a low pressure system.

I put a 87 pickup tank in my 77. Cleaned it out best I could. Pulled the in tank pump out. Ran new rubber gas hose from that tank to an inline pump and to the carb. No rust. Clean gas. I had to make some simple flat brackets to get the tank to bolt up. It might fit perfectly on a short bed.

Shit i was guna say you can have my old tank if you were willing to pick it up.

you can always switch over to a fuel cell or like said above, made something newer fit
