i found a 1977 hilux at my local junkyard here in san francisco. most of the body looks pretty good, only surface rust, no rust thru. box looks ok, tailgate is f'd up, doors look good, glass intact. hood looks good, left side fender is dented, grill is intact, bumper is bent. windshield has long crack, i forgot to check back window. 20R engine appears to be intact (tho i'm sure it doesnt run), transmission is still there. i'm going back to get the bench seat, i can inquire about prices and take pics if anyones interested. owner said he would keep it around for a couple weeks.

 

hey would there happen to be the chrome headlight rings in the grille? Maybe an original chrome drivers side mirror (rare) ?
