The good: Motor has been completely redone and has great compression, also has brand new weber carb. Transmission has been completely redone as well. Brand new exhaust, and all timing components were replaced in rebuild. Truck also has new brakes in front and rear, along with new brake lines. Wheel cylinders were replaced in the rear as well. I replaced the clutch master and slave cylinder, too. bed is in great shape, Body is fair - will need new rocker panels and some TLC on the paint. Truck has air shocks in the rear that work well, even if they are a bit rusty. the bad: I cannot get the motor to run right. Compression is great, timing is supposedly right on according to timing marks, am getting fuel and getting spark. It HAS to be something off in timing or cap/rotor/wires, but the wife said I can't spend another dime on it. Someone who knows these trucks will probably be able to fix it easily, but I'm tired of messing with it. Truck also needs a new passenger side window. Also am getting a high pitched whine from under the truck somewhere. no clue what that is. I'm letting this go for $700, which is far less than I have in it at this time. The carb alone was almost 300 bucks. My loss is your gain - this truck can either be fixed up easily or parted out - but not by me. I just want it gone. If it doesnt sell by the end of the week, I'm scrapping it.
