They looked pretty close to my 76 but I can't be 100% sure because I haven't actually gotten around to installing them yet.

This link is no longer available. What are they called? Have you ordered from that place before?

Ordered a set of 3” blocks for the rear. Planning to cut the front springs until I figure out what I like then buy new struts and springs.

I did the same with mine the first time around, bought mighty max springs and shorter struts. The struts were good but the springs were to soft ended going back to the stock springs and cutting 2 coils out of it. I did get shorter leaf springs and used a 2' block with a shorter shock and that was good. I do actually use the truck for loading it up with weight and the back held up fine.

What front struts did you end up going with?

I remember running mine fully open. Got some nice flames out of her. But man did it sound like a tractor. Lol

My set of drop blocks arrived. 3” drop with a 3 degree pinion angle correction. They are beefy and the welds look pretty good.

Do I need to make any other modifications to the rear? Shorter struts or pull a leaf from the spring pack? 4D13C087-666D-4A57-8589-62CCFE11CF3D.jpeg

eBay, they were 67 bucks from chassis_tech. Probably take a shot at installing them next week.

Pull a leaf if you want a 4"+ drop. Shorter shocks shouldnt be necessary out back

Alright cool and then on the fronts I was planning to trim the springs down 1.5-2 loops to give me 3 in drop. Will I need new struts for the front right away or can I get away with whatever is in there for a while? Also I’ll probably need to trim or remove the front bump stop yeah?

Pull the front bump stop and bracket. Cut like half a turn at a time til you like where it sits. And the shocks will be more and more compressed depending how low you go. Eventually wont matter if the shock is new or old
