    Hi,
My name is Derek and im from melbourne in Australia.
I recently purchased a '75 RN20 hilux which was pretty rust free save three spots..lh guard and the inner rear sides of the engine bay.
I was looking just for a cheap daily driver ute then saw this and despite my logic about never being able to find parts for an old truck like this i brought it anyway because it had too much appeal!

its got a 12r 1600 with a 4 speed in it and ive only just started getting cleaned up a bit.
Local parts guys and wreckers seem to know little about the model and it is proving to be a real challenge to get good leads on parts or information!

ive no idea how to post an image bu ill try and sort it out

I found this forum and it looks great with some awesome projects out there too!

    Cheers
    Derek

Welcome to TM, Derek ... When i post pics, i prefer thumbnails ... When you post, click on 'GO ADVANCED' then scroll down to 'Manage attachments' ... From there you can hit 'Browse' and upload pics from your computer photo album ... I like doing the thumbnails 'cause it takes up alot less room and all anybody has to do is click on the image they wanna look at to enlarge ... Good luck ...

Welcome, Derek! I'm glad you took possession of this 1975 Hilux. I really like the fact that the older trucks are receiving some attention & interest.

I can probably be of some help for locating parts (except sheet metal, trim pieces, interior items).

    Rick
