    Hi all,
I'm new to this site just heard of it when I started working on my 74' hilux again. I was wondering how much power I would be getting out of the truck and if anyone knew a good way to guess. Heres whats under the hood; jap version 18r(Small combustion chamber and bigger valves), Performance exhaust headers,DCOE 40 Carb, Advanced timing on the distributor, just had the head milled and all new valves. I was also wondering what are some ways to also get more power out of it beside a different engine, and would it be better or smart to put on two DCOE 45s instead of the one 40? Thank you.

I gots no truck, for now
talk to the guy at kenyon machine shop on santa fe street in pacific beach, one of the guys drives a 74 pretty much daily to work, its 100% restored and he has some cool custom parts for it. Headers that seperate the intake from the exhaust, cool intake manifolds. He can probably tell ya where he got em from.

Did you ever find those custom parts? Or where they could be sourced from?
