Hello! New Hilux owner here! Has anyone tried the motor and transmission mounts from Rockauto for a 1970 hilux? Either I'm doing something wrong or they don't have the right ones. The engine mounts seemed to be pretty close but it turns out they are 1" - 1/2" to tall. The transmission mount seems completely different. I might try toyota tomorrow but i thought id ask here in the mean time to see if anyone else has been in this situation. Thanks!
How many motor options did a 70 have? Maybe yours is diff than the intended motor for the new mounts. And you're talking the rubber pads like the stock setup, right? Take some pics, we can probably help diagnose the issue. And welcome, post pics of the truck too. We love the old ones.
