18 RG for sale??

    Hey guys,

    I live in So Cal and I'm looking for an 18RG but I'm having no luck. Anybody have any tips on where I could find one? Thanks!

    I ran an 18RG in my truck when I raced it back in the 1980's. Mine came race prepped from TRD so I would start checking there. You can also call John in Tech at LC Engineering, he might have some insight where to find one. I hope you have "Deep Pockets" because you are going to need them for that motor. All of the parts required to install my 18RG race motor into my truck all came from Japan and they were expensive as hell even in the 1980's. Good Luck.

    Just for clarification:

    You want a 18 RG ( Are-Gee )

    Not a

    18 RC ( Are-Cee )

    Reason: a guy I know has an 18RC for $100.

    As I recall, the RG were somewhat rare. True?
    Are the two types interchangeable?
