17x8 +53

    Im looking at a set of wheel that have a offset of +53. How well would these fit? Trying to learn offset. I know how to messure for offset but dont understand how it works. Right now i have 97 cobra wheels and they fit noce but looking for something differnt.

    well i know that stang wheels are usually somewhere around +25-+30mm offset so measure out about 25mm and thats how much further they will stick out

    17x8 with a +53 is like a very very very FWD orientated offset..


    so the mounting is really pushed towards the face of the wheel.


    17x8 with a -53 is like.... the mounting would be on the very back of the wheel..... it'd stick out an inch or two from your truck.
