There are (2) types that are for truck use. The first one is a rack that slides into the trailer hitch. There is also one that mounts on the bed rail up towards the cab. This type will require you to remove the front tire. I personally have the slide in rack since I have a tonneau cover on the cargo box. It holds two bicycles and was fairly cheap. I can no long see this rack for sale, but I know that Yakima makes one. Not sure if that's in your budget or not.

Keep us posted on your decision!

maybe im missing something here, but doesn't your truck have a bed that can be used as bike storage and transport?

I'm in the process of making a rack that goes on the bed. still working out on how I want this to be mounted. I know this doesn't help you at all....But we are mini truckers! We just like to make stuff!!!

You might also check with your local bike shop. Most larger ones will have the quick release bracket that will bolt down to your bed floor. Last time I checked they weren't very much if you just bought the bracket itself.
