finished the truck....the mechanical stuff anyway. ended having to replace, timing chain set, cleaned oil pan and pickup screen, installed new...
got the oil pan dropped and cleaned out along with the pickup screen. that thing was really nasty....probably the cause of my low oil pressure...
i wish the same thing. sounds like its either the JY or the dealership for parts.
today i looked at my truck parked in the garage and now dread that i have to put it back up on jacks for the third time so i can drop the oil pan...
+1! :waytogo: bought more oil and a new oil pan gasket. gonna put it up in the air (yet again) to clean the oil pan and check the pickup...
yeah. i'm gonna drop the oil pan and see what's up. my driver side timing chain guide was broke when i took the cover off, and i didn't see any...

this is next on the agenda once i get it running properly. i've got some gnarly hard water stains on all the windows. makes it very hard to see...
