do u have teh stock carb on it still? if anything try adjusting the idle screw and/or the fuel screw...that might help
the only thing i can think of that is doing this is not getting fuel..do u smell gas when it stalls?

i wish i could get another toy for a daily driver, but doing 60mi a day i cant, that and my geo metro works good :) other truck looks good man,...
try putting some carb cleaner threw it... also, have u done a recent tune up? when does it do it, first crank up, cold or when the motor is hot?...
every so often i will see tail lights for a 2nd gen, just not that many..

if im thinking correctly the plunger is inside the master cylinder. yes u can bleed ur rear brakes.
