whats goin on, i stumbled onto this site browsing around ideas for my truck, i ahve a 91 toyota that was bagged by someone else and tehy did a terrible job. so far ive redone the front bag mounts. adn getting ready to try to move my clutch master cylinder and redo the shock setup..ive been into mini trucks for along time just never made the time to own one, busy with my tattoo shop and riding motocross.. im 30 yrs old and wanna learn as much as i can about minis, and wanna learn alot about fabracation etc,,,
oh nice,, ya im from ogden,, im sure you guys have seen the truck,, lime green toyota... thing was a pile!! when i got it, im working out all the BS on it tho,, ill post up one of the pics i got,, since ive got the truck, ive put alot of work in it so far,, re did and located the bag mounts, new bags, grinded a ton of unessacery metal away so i could make more room and move the bags closer to the frame, new tranny, bunch of engine issues, etc,,, built door panels, put 20s on it, 4WD fenders, working on moving my clutch master cylinder tomorro,(sun)... basically this truck is kind of a all around nitemare haha,,
I like the paint. Thts the one great thing about buyin a truck already bagged man. My f150 has some sketchy things aswell. Like speaker wire for all the valve/ switchbox wiring notch not welded on the bottom the old compressors were mounted to a piece of like 1/2" plate with bolts welded to it then it was hose clamped on
Actually you bought the truck from Dropts neighbor or friend i think. lol There is a thread somewere around here about that truck. It had a blown bag when you got it right ? if its the same one. What shop do you run in ogden? Ive seen that truck on washington i think. It not like you can miss it with the paint job. I dont live in ogden but i work up There & cruise around everyday. Cant miss my truck & its bright paint with if youve seen it... lol cant wait to find me a bed and get it repainted.
no at this point i had relocated the bag mounts and put 20s on it,,, it sat higher in the front than in this pic,, ill post up some before pics, and pics of where im at now,, the color is the same as when i got it,,
oh really,,, well whoever the kid was that i got it from was a dipsh*t.... i bought it at nite which was stupid on my part lol,, yea but actually both front bags were blown, but yea im sure this is the same truck,, whats your plans with your truck?? i own MUTINY INK in slc,,,
so anyway Im from Boise. My lady and her sister love Lagoon so we hit it up about 3x a year. Anyhow last time we were there we seen this kid in a parking lot and I stopped to chat him up bout his truck. He didnt know **** about it guess he bought it this way but he said it was garbage and he was gonna change some stuff on it. Long story short either its the same truck with some changes or a coincidence there are 2 lime green bagged trucks in Utah???
if the pic you posted is the (other) lime green one in utah, then yes there must be 2,, cause the truck you posted isnt the same as mine,, the one in the pic alread has 4wd fenders, i had to put them on mine,, this truck u posted looks alot nicer than mine haha
I saw this truck for sale on ksl.com when I bought my toyota. I thought about buying it a couple times but it was a little out of my price range at the time. I live in southern Idaho but work in Logan, UT.
Ya i ended up getting him down to 2300 on it. Was well worth it to me cuz the whole drive train is spotless. Newer rebuild etc etc. Could almost eat off the motor & new parts everywere under the hood. Very clean except for his crappy bodywork on the bed. lol
Haha nice job. If I would have had another 1000 to drop I would have been all over it. Kinda wish I did. The one I did end up getting was in really good shape inside and out with low miles except it had a ding in the hood. So far has been a great buy.
welcome man, i myself use to live in Utah, i still have family there, i always wondered if there was minitruckers there, every time i go up there i never see a mini, i like the truck cant wait to see some more work on it
