Most of my interior is finished and I am looking into the body work. I figured I would start with a static drop. What is the best way to get a 4 inch drop and where is the best place to buy the parts from?

Well lats asume your talking about a 76-83 and not the 93 in your profile?

if you are talking about the 93 then you can buy parts.

If your talking about the 76-78 you have to Modify your Springs ie cut/heat/remove....

if your talking about the 79-83 I will have to leave that up to someone else.

My 76 I removed the front Springs, and Mono leafed the rear with a 3" Block. put it on the bump stops and on the frame in the rear and tuck tire on 17's

Do you suggest drop spindles or torsion drop? Where is the best place to find these parts?

I dont remember how big preston is but prob not big enough to have an autozone or shucks but if you have a decent auto parts store they should be able to order the rear drop blocks/shackles for you. As for the front definetly get drop spindles from Belltech or somewhere else but dont do the torsions unless you are really good with paying attention to how many turns and such and measuring sides. Or if you have a tire shop in town with anyone who knows suspension and atleast has an alinment machine then you can torque down the torsion bars a bit and then put on the drop spindles. EVERYTHING can be found on Ebay of course and other places like rollpans.com suicide doors.com airbagit.com so on so forth. Peace from the 208
