Can anyone give me any information on this motor, I seen one in the paper for CHEAP, and as you know im in the market for a New motor, wanted to know more info before i buy

 

What do you want to know?

If it's CHEAP, and has a lot of miles on it, it will need to be rebuilt. The turbo is probably junk. If it was overheated, it will likely need a head. Oh, and the stock ECU won't support many upgrades. I went to Megasquirt with mine.

The best things about buying an old RTE are the turbo manifold, the bigger injectors, and that the oil connections are drilled in the block. If the price is right, grab it, but I'd be very surprised if you could just drop it in.

 

yeah that kinda my feeling big efforts and ass pains for weeks, Im just trying to get this old girl on the road first, worry about making it tricked later
