Well i must say i think i surprised some guy tonight. I was heading home from work and there was this truck passing ppl behind me catching up to me very quick. Well when he pulled out to pass me i downshifted and he couldn't quite make it past the old little Toyota Pickup. Tailed me for about another 10 min, and never could get past. Then i finally turned off onto my road and he rushes right past. Turned out it was a early 90's chev with a 6.0 litre V8. Nice dual exhaust too sounded pretty good.... too bad sound isnt everything!
thats the kind of story that makes me all tingly. i can't wait to play with people with the 86 yota. it will be a chevy 327 and two speed powerglide. i love the trannies 1st gear till 60 mph.
. . . and knowing a few guys like that, they always have some excuse somewhere . . . just my mostly stock 22r with the carb conversion keeps up great with alot of so called hotrods . . .
My Motor is a stock 3.0L In-line 6 Turbo out of a supra. But in a lightweight little pickup it moves! And it sounds tame until the waste-gate opens !
