well Im super stoked, Ive been trying to get a job with Tampa Police for everrr answering 911 phone calls, well no luck... anyways my mom goes into the bank the other day in uniform and talks to a lady, anyways hes the supervisor for hillsborough country fire rescue 911 center... so I got his number, I went in 1am tonight for my interview.. I got the job as long as I pass drug and typing test but they are both cake for me, and I have to wait for this girl to quit/get fired, shes not going to pass training, and even if she does they are not going to keep her, but they cant get rid of her till then... anyways Ill be working 7pm to 7am 2 days on 2 days off and every other weekend off.. which means 36 hours one week then 48 the next I beleive so 8 hours overtime every payday and its $14 bucks an hour ! Anyways I sat there for 2 hours and basicaly 6 people in the room, 5 computer screens, and calls only come in maybe every 20 minutes on a week day night.. weekends are another story... so in the mean time we all watched saw 5 and some girl movie on lmn... they got 2 52" lcds on each side of the room, we control the channels.. also 3 breaks a night, leave stay do whatever, and they got a room with beds to sleep in !!! lol. I am sooo stoked! anyways Ill be doing a little to my truck but Im going to also do the smart thing, and put as much money away as I can so I can start my life and pay for school... oh and by the way,sorry I havent been on much, I drove to georgia times this week and didnt have internet there... hope everyone had a good turkey dinner with the family ! sadly this is the first year without my grandparents so I had a small thing at my girlfriends aunts then rushed to work !
holy crap dude, i think i wouldnt want to work there, imagaine you get that one call that's gonna leave you in shock and horror and your life gets changed! nu uh!! i would not want to be waiting for the day that call comes in.... i mean, sounds like a cool job and all, but i probably would not want to work there...
thanks guys.. and trust me I already asked how often do people die on the phone with you, only a few people have had it happen...1 guy did call saying he was gunna shoot himself, well he did, he pulled the trigger of his shotgun with his toe. And another man called for an ambulance and when they asked why he said do I really have to tell you ? anyhow a dildo broke in his arse and he tried 2 days to get it out lmfao.... Honestly I do not think phone calls will disturb me, majority of the baddd ones are dealt with the police because the police are involved, like getting calls saying someones shooting me !! helpp blahblah.....these are more like chest pains, or im old and fell, and life alert calls...
