I have a 86 4speed that i want to to convert to 5 speed (w58) is there a simple swap for this if so what year car or truck has the w58 that will bolt right up thnx

 

w58 or a 56? either way i think the celicas and some of the older supras came with those transmissions....... not sure on years.

any 5 speed out of a 22r, 22re, or 22rte will bolt right on to your truck. you can use the same clutch components too.

 

A shop is selling a w58 for 80 bucks but without bellhousing and the tranny might be from a supra if so will it still bolt right up if i can find a bellhousing?
