hey guys, i made a thread in the introduce yourself section, now i want to make one here for more of a permanent thread for my truck

i got some old pics on my pc, when i get paid i'm going to get a new digi, so i'll get some quality new shots, of interior and all the rest if you guys wanna see them....

a few small things looks-wise have been done since these were taken, grille has been "restored" by me rims done the same, and my kick panels inside have now disintegrated and the chevy mats are over the hill lol, it looks a little better now, just tlc...but much more is to come over time

So are you just going to restore it or are you going to lower it

 

its a hard decision to make for me as far as lowering it, i'd go a little lower...what would it take to do so?

 

Lowering blocks in back or lowering leaf springs, And for the front im not to sure , On mine i just turned the torsions down and did a b/j flip in front

 

Really simple.. I just put in some 4 inch blocks, middle leaf removed and the notch is next, I then turned my torsions down all the way. I probably will upgrade my front suspension to 84 and up years to install some drop spindles to get more of a drop. Im going to run with a 7/8 static drop on 15s or 16s.

 

i love the idea, i really just dont think thats the direction i want to go at this point...i'm really interested in the w58 trans swap, and paint over anything. everyday it rains i feel my toyota crying man

 

i got my new camera today, so the pics are on....if you guys still have respect for my truck because its not lowered i'll add new pics if yall are down....just need to know how to make them big instead of thumbnail??

also...where is the thread for pics of your truck with another cool ride in a parking lot?? as soon as i walked out of best buy today with the digi got a badass pick with a 4x4yota and another with a porsche

 

Search the OFF TOPIC section for parking lot finds. I think thats what is called. We dont hate on anyone in here if the dont lower there ride. We have lifted, lowered, stock, classic,raced out and whatever else we got. We like the fact that it is a yota. Thats all that matters

i bought a nice camera today so i can give yall alot better quality images....i'll try to figure out how to get them to display big...

That truck is seriously cherry for that area of Ky. I grew up there and I know that on quiet night, you can hear a toyota rust....


So what direction are you wanting to go? Up, down, race, rice, stock, hot rod.... the possibilities are endless!

its the most solid toyota i've ever seen around here, i've seen yota's 15yrs newer that the frames are gone and the whole of my rust problem is all surface rust, none of it is structural so i'm really lucky

i want it to look like i just pulled of the dealership in 82, but better...i call it super-stock but not like a race car lol

it will be a toyota beige with a white roof cap and a red pinstripe....
