So I bought a 90 4wd 4runner bumper. It looks different from the other bumpers that I've seen like the 92 4runner. Would the bumper fit the 92 2wd p/u?

 

it will fit. the 90-91 4runner bumpers are different from the 92-95. it will fit anyway.

I was debating to whether painting the grill/bumper black or keeping it chrome. What woulds your opinion on this?

 

just the inside little 1s that go across look nice black not the whole grill

 

if you dont mind me asking, what did you have to pay? and was it the bumper and lower valance?

I bought the bumper/valence +grill for 75. It was the best price I can find in the area in good condition.

 

The 90-91 4runner bumper/valance is the same as the 89-91 4wd bumper/valance.

 

are you going with the big headlights????with this setup???

89 bumper and valance will still fit your truck yes, if you do plan on swapping headlights as well, itd be advised to go ahead and snag the radiator support from that 4runner also...

 

89-91 4runner or truck, it all works.


teh 92-95 4runner has the actual difference in radiator supports, grilles, headlights, corners, and a different bumper valance setup than the "traditional" pickup style.
