remember on our older trucks the lip is on the OUTSIDE so you cant just throw some clamps on, best bet is nuts, washers and bolts.

Those are cool, but they wouldn't be very secure for gear. I usually pack up my stuff after we play, lock it up, and head back in to check out the next band. Now that I don't have my Silverado, I'll be packing the xB, which should be fine, but if I wound up taking the Toyota I'd probably just have to leave my gear until the last band is done or just as I leave.

Yea, I didn't think about the fact the rails are on the outside.... crap. Bolts. Hmmmmm....

I think he switching his single cab to a extra cab. I wonder if hes making it uni-body as well seeing as how the cab will cover into the bed. Hmmmmm, good idea.

Sunday after a 60 mile cruise I heard a noise coming from around the trany area! Seems that the input bearing is going bad( 200,000 + miles on the trany), so along with getting back into paint this winner I now will be pulling the trany & doing a rebuild!:(

    started disassembling the front end.

It's been awhile since I've been here. Just been busy with my everyday life. I finally got a chance Today to start disassembling the front so I can eventually "Z" the front end. Only wires I had to cut were the driver's side turn signal and parking light.
