Thats a tough question! Which do you think you might get most use or fun with?

where do you live and will you be able to use the long travel suspension? that's what i asked myself when i looked at my 2wd. I'm in the mid west and there is no chance that i'll be able to get any use out of the long travel suspension. So for me it's drop it a little and still be able to haul my quad and other stuff. I could cram thousands of dollars into a truck i'll never use but it'd look cool. For me it's drop it reasonably and create a nice riding pickup that can do work like it was meant to do. I'd rather sink money into the engine and make it faster.

im in utah man, little sahara is only about an hour away, and theres 5 mile pass aswell, lots of places to use it. Im afraid if i go that route though i would need a another truck and a trailer to pull it with. cuz id hate for something to break out there, and not have a way to get it home.

i guess i should probably go low with it haha

long travel would definitely be more fun, but if i were to slam it or bag it i could just cruise and still have it as a daily driver.

here is a little taste of little sahara... you can see nothing but sand for miles and miles.

    Stock Height!

I like mine the way it is. Up or Down? Only Sithlords deal in absolutes brother. lol

I like the fact that I can get under it w/o having to jack it up - I pulled the starter this way. Lifted trucks too, but the higher it gets, the more aero drag, and the more you feel you should primer it black and put dirtbike stickers all over it.

Lowered looks cool, but I've been pulled over waay too many times in my lowered CRX. The attention is fun, but not all of it.

Either way would look cool, but don't leave out stock as an option.

Um these trucks are like way cheap if you look so BOTH!! If I had a pre-runner I would die cause I like jumping stuff and in the middle of nowhere I have no fear I only have fear in traffic. I get pulled over tons in my cement scrapper but I dont die. Big plus in my book, also another reason I stopped racing cars in hillclimbs and rally X I had no fear= plenty of opportunity for death

I used to have a 110 hp sandrail. Dual carb corvair motor, decent travel suspension, skinnies and fatties....

Dude, if you like to be constantly fixing broken parts, welding this, and fabbing that...Then yea build the desert buggy. Remember sand kills everything. Starters, alternators, bushings, paint, ect.

    Just my experiance.
